Finding a coach to work alongside you on your edge can be a challenge. Just as with any other relationship, we need to get a sense of what makes the coach tick, are they a person I can trust?
My website information is written in a certain distanced, factual style, which, of course has its place, but by including some of my poetry I hope that you’ll get a better feel for who I am.
Coaching and poetry share a use of metaphor and a poem comes into being when we are present in the moment, which is the quality required of a coach during the session. Poems arrive in me when I listen with my whole self, and notice what is present. Coaching requires listening in the same way.
